These artworks are the visual retelling of this journey. A reflection of what I have searched for and found while living full-time on public lands. They're created using a lengthy process of natural weathering and layer upon layer of oil pastel, ink, paint and various print techniques.This one shows a night Desert Scene with saguaro cactus and the lights of a nearby suburb as viewed from my campsite near New River. Look closely, theres layers and layers of underpainting and metallic gold throughout and along the edges.
