Jessica Mavropoulos

Jessica Mavropoulos grew up in St.Louis Missouri and graduated with a BFA degree from California State University Channel Islands. Her work has been featured in the Washington Post, Voyage LA Magazine, & Visit Oxnard Magazine. In 2019, Jessica discovered her love for activism when she started working as a ballot initiative and voter registration canvasser. That same year, she created her most notable artwork "Mother of Exiles " A 13ft x 8ft mural on canvas featuring the screaming Lady Liberty against the backdrop of a upside-down USA flag.

Jessica is currently traveling the USA; working as a substitute teacher and petition canvasser for various campaigns and causes. She dreams of one day owning her own little piece of the American dream. A small piece of land on which to live sustainably, keep bees, and build community.
